Sandpoint Depot Status: The building is closed to the public and used by Amtrak as a platform stop only. There is a outside covered waiting area at the south end of the depot.

Amtrak officials recently announced they expect the historic Sandpoint Depot to reopen for passenger use by the end of the year 2013.
